Ekta Kapoor, known to be possessive of the shows she mothers, might have to wash her hands off the next season of Nach Baliye that she was gearing up to produce.

The dance-reality show (which is a pale shadow of its old avtar) that features real-life couples was on its way to Balaji to have another season added to its repertoire. But circumstances are now driving it in another direction altogether.
SpotboyE has it that Ekta and the broadcasters (Star Plus) have had irrevocable creative differences on the show, following which Ekta is planning to exit from the collaboration.

At the time of going online, we hear, Endemol might be assigned to produce Nach Baliye Season 8.
